Thorough, accurate architectural services for residential + commercial buildings | On time ​> on budget ​> no fuss ✅

In November 2011 after being made redundant I took the plunge and started my own architectural firm in Sheffield.

I knew architecture and building design, but I quickly learned I knew jack about business and marketing. It’s been a massive learning curve, but it meant I could finally:

▪️ Do things my way and embrace my detail-oriented approach.

▪️ Properly focus on low-energy, sustainable buildings, something I’ve been passionate about for a long time.

▪️ Have incredible flexibility for my family. I’ve also come to understand that buildings are essentially about people, the people who use & enjoy them, people like you & me, & our families.

I’m trying to buck the trend against consumerism, changing fashions & ‘disposable architecture’.

I don’t have a minimum project value.

We feel any project, no matter the size has the potential to change someone’s life for the better.

The company primarily comprises myself, Nathan Oliver, supported by a range of external professional assistants.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family & friends & mainly trying to cycle around the Peak District, stunning scenery helps me to recharge but those chuffing hills are leg killers!

Oh yes, I try to go snowboarding as well sometime and mostly try not to fall over.
