I’m the solicitor who makes marketing and advertising law affordable, accessible, and actually helpful for you so you can do great work without the compliance anxiety.

After 12 years advising hundreds of members at the Data & Marketing Association on marketing and advertising law, I started JP Legal Assist in 2020.

I am a qualified solicitor (33 years) and have spent 18 years advising businesses on the CAP and BCAP Codes administered by the ASA, and the rules on the use of personal data in marketing administered by the ICO.

I’m approachable and practical, making sense of regulations to show you how they affect your business. When not working, I’m a wife, mother to 2 wonderful girls and “mum” to a gorgeous golden retriever.

Marketing and Advertising laws and best practice in the UK, including understanding the Advertising Standards Authority and how they overseas the advertising rules and investigate complaints from the public and other advertisers and how the Information Commissioner regulates the marketing rules and and investigates complaints that the rules under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations have been breached.
